Upcoming Match vs. James River on Saturday

On Saturday, we will travel down to Richmond to play James River.

This is our last game before we have the play-offs following the Easter Week bye.

We will start the play-offs at home against Old Gaelic(a team from the East Pennsylvania Rugby Union(EPRU)).

Match vs. Pax River Saturday

I was not able to observe it first hand, but Suburbs won a convincing victory over Pax River. We won 53-5.

B-side game vs. George Mason

We had a Friday night rugby game at George Mason. The play was very sloppy early in the game. Both sides committed a lot of penalties and turnovers. One of our players got a yellow card for excessive off-sides penalties. During the second period we started to get things a little more under control. The Mason guys kept coming at us and applying pressure, but we ended up winning the hard fought match 20-10.

Webmaster for rugbyfootball.com

Wes has announced that he is stepping down as the webmaster for the Western Suburbs RFC website. The website is rugbyfootball.com. It is at least as much Wes' website as it is the club's website.

It looks like James Evans is the man to attempt to fill his shoes. I have experience taking care of the website during Wes' brief hiatus and appreciate the size of the job. James needs someone to help him do updates during the day, so it looks like I will be doing that.
